Aanganwari workers demonstrate in support of demands

NURMAHAL  All Punjab Aanganwari Mulajam Union block Nurmahal on Friday held a demonstration in front of the office of the CDPO in support of their demands on a call given by Aanganwari Employees Federation of Indian.

In a press release union district secretary Krishna Kumari said many workers and helpers participated in the demonstration. She said that they are demanding that workers and helpers should be declared as frontline workers in the war against COVID-19. She said till other e demands are not accepted worker should be paid Rs 24000 per month and helper Rs 18000 honorarium per month.

A memorandum was submitted to the authorities.
