Three arrested for violating DC’s order

NAKODAR /LOHIAN KHAS   The Mehat Pur and Lohian Khas police have arrested three persons on the charge of violating Jalandhar deputy commissioner’s order on the lockdown.

Mehat Pur investigating officer Davinder Singh  said that the accused has been identified as  Akashdip alias Akash  a resident of Maheru village who was loitering on a motorcycle without any pass in the lockdown and impounder his two-wheeler

Lohian Khas investigating officer Mohan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sandip Kumar and Kamaljit Singh residents of ward no.13 who were cooking meat in a Dhaba on Phul village road in the lockdown.

IO s said that cases under sections 188(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 and 270 (negligent and malignant acts likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) ) of the IPC and section 51 (b) of the Disaster Management Act have been registered against the accused who were released on bail giving them a strict warning.
