Woman among four arrested for selling illicit liquor

NURMAHAL /NAKODAR/SHAHKOT The Nurmahal police on Monday arrested a woman on the charge of selling illicit liquor. The Investigating Officer Amarjit Singh said 9 bottles of illicit liquor were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Paramjit Kaur alias Pammi wife of Guljari Ram a resident Mohalla Dibi Pura Nurmahal.  A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has registered against the accused.

The Mehat Pur arrested Paramjit a resident of Aadramaan village with 9 bottles of illicit liquor said investigating officer Tirath Ram.

The Shahkot police arrested Tarsem Singh of Kakarr Kalan village with 9 bottles of hooch said investigating officer Gurmukh Singh .

The Lohian Khas police arrested Gurdial Singh of Muridwal village with 9 bottles of hooch said investigating officer Jaspal Singh.

The Nakodar sadar police booked Manga of Uggi for selling illicit liquor and recovered 7 bottles of hooch from him who fled away said investigating officer Lovelin Kumar.
