Six arrested for violating DC’s order

NAKODAR /SHAHKOT /NURMAHAL   The Nakodar city, Mehat Pur, Shahkot, and Nurmahal have arrested six persons on the charge of violating Jalandhar deputy commissioner’s order on the lockdown.

Nakodar city investigating officer Iqbal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Baljinder Singh a resident of Hussain Pur village, DipakKumar a resident of Guru Nanak Pura and Harprit Singh a resident of Billa Nawab village who was loitering in the car at night without any pass.

Mehat Pur investigating Officer Tarlochan Singh said that the accused has been identified as Baljinder Singh a resident of Muhem village who was loitering after 7 pm without any mask

Shahkot investigating officer Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Surinder Singh a resident of Bhanno Langa village in Kapurthala who loitering in Shahkot without any pass.

Nurmahal investigating Officer Bhajan Lal said that the accused has been identified as Hardip Singh a resident of Mohalla Kohlian here who was loitering after 7 pm without any mask.

 

IO’s said that cases under sections 188(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 and 270 (negligent and malignant acts likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 290(Punishment for public nuisance) of the IPC and section 51 (b) of the Disaster Management Act have been registered against the accused who were released on bail giving them strict warnings.
