Drug addicted youth killed by Father allegedly in accidental firing in Burj Hari ka village of Faridkot district

In a tragic incident occurred on the issue of money to buy drugs,  son got killed by accidental fire from the licensed weapon.

 Faridkot: The Bajakhana police of the district has registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder (304)against the father of the deceased, Balbir Singh, allegedly drug addicted youth from village Burj Hari Ka of Faridkot distirct.

The complaint has been lodged in this regarding by Balwinder Kaur, the mother of the deceased.

“My younger son was a drug addicted and he used to demand us money to buy drugs and when we failed to pay him, he would harassed and beat us. On Wednesday afternoon , he began to beat me  and when his father, Charanjeet Singh intervened, he rushed to a residential room in the house and brough the licenced .12 bore rifle and loaded two cartridges to kill us. My husband tried to snatch the rifle from him which ended up into a fight between the two. During this scuffle to snatch rife from my son to save ourselves, two bullets got fired off accidentally out of which one hit my son in the arm and another in the stomach killing him on the spot. My husband ran away from the house along with his rifle out of fear,” reads the police complaint by Balwinder Kaur.

A case has been registered in this regarding at police station Bajakhana and inspector Parwinder Singh is investigating the case.
