Unidentified booked for stealing fertilizer bags

NAKODAR The Nakodar city police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of stealing fertilizer bags from a godown.

Kahan Gupta a resident of Mohalla Krishana Nager here complained to the police that thieves barged into godown at Adda Mehat Pur on June 29  night and stolen 180 bags of DAP fertilizer worth Rs 2.16 lakh.

The investigating officer Labh Singh said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against unidentified accused.
