Three arrested for violating DC’s order

NAKODAR/SHAHKOT             The Nakodar Sadar , Mehat Pur and Shahkot police have arrested three persons on the charge of violating Jalandhar deputy commissioner’s (DC) order on the lockdown.

Nakodar Sadar Investigating Officer (IO) Lovelin Kumar   said that the accused has been identified as Harjinder  Singh a resident of Mir Pur Marri village who violated an order issued by DC.

Mehat Pur investigating officer Sarabjit Singh that the accused has been identified as Baljit Kumar a resident of Mohalla Shadi Kha Mehat Pur was loitering without any mask in night curfew. 

Shahkot investigating Officer Harbhajan Lal said that the accused has been identified as Surjit Singh a resident of Mohalla Baghwala Shahkot and was loitering without any pass. 

IO’s said that cases under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC and section 51 (b) of the Disaster Management Act has been registered against the accused.
