Four arrested for violating DC’s order

NAKODAR/NURMAHAL               The Meht Pur ,Nakodar sadar and Bilga police have arrested four persons on the charge of violating Jalandhar deputy commissioner’s (DC) order on the lockdown.

  Mehat Pur investigating officer Naridar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Mangat Singh and Jarnail Singh residents of Beetal village who have opened their Dhabas on the main road during night curfew and violated an order issued by DC.

Nakodar sadar investigating Officer Lovelin Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Shamdin a resident of Mehmud Pur village who violated an order issued by DC.

Bilga investigating officer Satpal said that the accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar a resident of Pati Bhatti ,Bilga who was loitering during night curfew.

IO’s said that cases under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) 269 and 270(malignant and negligent acts likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) of the IPC and section 51 (b) of the Disaster Management Act and section 3 of Epidemic Decease Act has been registered against the accused.
