With 8 new covid positive cases confirmed, number of active goes up to 19 in Faridkot,100 recovered and 10332 total samples tested so far for Covid-19

Faridkot: According to the report of the health department Faridkot, 8 more cases have been tested positive in the district and now the total number of active cases in Faridkot is 19.

“8 more persons have been tested positive in the district. The wife and 24 years old son of the police officer tested positive earlier from New Harindra Nagar of the town have been tested positive. The wife of another patient from Dashmesh Nagar Faridkot too has been tested positive while besides them, one 70 years old woman from village Jaleana,one 45 years old driver from village Sandhwan,one worker came to Kotkapura who came from UP and another two other cases from Kotkapura including a police employee have been tested positive. All these patients have been admitted to GGS medical college Faridkot for treatment,” said Dr Rajinder Kumar, civil surgeon Farikdot.

“So far, 100 patients have recovered in the district while 10332 samples have been tested for Covid. 180 samples of the suspected have also been sent of late for testing,” the civil surgeon said.
