Under Mission Fateh a special awareness programme on COVID-19 organised at CHC Mukandpur

Mukandpur/Nawanshahr: Under the Mission Fateh campaign launched by the Punjab Government with the objective of overcoming the fear of COVID-19 pandemic among the masses a special awareness program was organised for the patients at CHC Mukandpur. 

Under the supervision of SMO Dr Ravinder Singh, it was informed to the patients by Nodal Officer Dr Naranjan Ram that anyone suffering from fever, cough, cold, sore throat and any other influenza like symptoms must contact to the nearest health centre for a medical check-up. The Block Extension Educator (BEE) also sensitised the people to use masks when going out of the house, wash hands with soap for at least 20 seconds, use sanitizers when working in the field and maintain regular social distance. 'He motivated the people to stay at home until you have some urgent work outside'. Intake healthy nourishment and elude from junk and unhealthy food which lessen the immunity of the person. Also avoid in taking children and older persons in outdoors. This campaign is for the people, by the people and of the people. He appealed everyone to be careful regarding Coronavirus and extend your full support to the government. During this activity Dr Jasminder Singh Kular, Dr Simi and other health officials were also present.
