KCET Students Get Top Placements

Amritsar: Six students from Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET) have been absorbed in the top notch MNC company during the intensive placement drive. The students belonging to B.Tech (CSE &ECE) were selected by Q-Spider, a Bangalore based IT software company at a reverent package of up to Rs.9 lakhs each. This company has different offices located in Pune, Noida , Delhi, USA and UK.

 

Among the selected students were Jyoti and Rimpy Sharma both from B. Tech CSE- Sem 8th; Kulwinder Singh and Rajandeep Singh both from B. Tech ECE- Sem 8th; Navpreet Kaur and Neha of B. Tech CSE- Sem 6th, said Dr. Manju Bala, Director, KCET. She said it was a matter of pride and results of the hard work rendered by the faculty members and students that even in this time of pandemic when market job opportunities are falling down still our students got selected for this.

 

She said that few of these students belong to economically underprivileged class and have managed to excel in their studies and hence achieved this with their dedication and tireless efforts. She said among the selected students, Rimpy Sharma and Kulwinder Singh has already been a university position holder and has now grabbed this job with their dedication and zeal. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Honourary Secretary, Khalsa College Charitable Society congratulated the students and lauded the efforts of Director and faculty for this achievement and hope that these students will further achieve more heights and bring more laurels to their college and nation.
