Entire top brass of Jalandhar administration to be quarantined as secretary RTA detected Corona positive

RTA had attended meeting with top officers including dC on Monday

 JALANDHAR: Panic today gripped the Jalandhar administration after Secretary Regional Transport Authority Jalandhar Barjinder Singh was found Corona positive, as the office had attended a meeting with the top officers of the administration a few days back.

Secretary RTA was detected Corona positive today. He had attended a meeting with the top officers of the district administration including the Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Monday, before proceeding for leave. The meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and was attended by ADCs Vishesh Sarangal and Jasbir Singh, SDM Jai Inder Singh, DRO Jashanjeet Singh, Deputy Director Public Relations Manvinder Singh, Assistant Public Relations Officer Jatinder Kohli and others.

As the news of Secretary RTA detecting positive came out there was a panic amongst all the officers. It may be recalled that earlier two senior officers of the administration including Senior Superintendent of Police Navjot Singh Mahal and SDM Sanjeev Sharma have been already detected positive. Now after the RTA detecting positive the entire top brass of the administration has to be quarantined as per the medical protocol.
