Education Department starts "On Line District level Grievances Redressal Meetings"

Education Secretary holds" on line interaction" with teachers  of Pathankot district today. 

 
Chandigarh:
In a first of its kind unique initiative, the Education Department started   "District Level  On Line  Meetings" for redressal of grievances of  the employees of the education department. Such meetings would be conducted on every Saturday. To begin with, a " On LIne Interaction"  with the school teachers and non teaching employees of the Pathankot district through You Tube link was held today. A large number of teaching and non teaching employees of the district Pathankot  joined the You Tube  link to participate in the " On Line Meeting" to share  their problems and grievances directly with the Education Secretary. The officials of the Education Department , including DPI(Elementary) Lalit Kishore Ghai, Concerned Nodal Officer, District Education Officers and concerned officials were also attending the "On Line Meeting" from their respective places. 
   
"The idea behind starting the " On Line Grievances Redressal Meetings" is to ensure positive reciprocation to the hopes and aspirations of the teachers, who have being doing really commendable job in taking Virtual Classes,  enhancing enrollment, distributing text books  as well as performing various duties during the unprecedented pandemic COVID-19
     
During the meeting, the teaching and non teaching employees  belonging to different cadres  - Taj Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Deepak Kamal, Sunil Kumar, Ranjna , Sabina Gill, Kishore Kumar, Pankaj Bala, Madhu Kapoor, Hem Raj, Simmi Sharma, Anuradha, Sunil KumarPriya Gupta, Gulshan Syal, Ram Kumar, Bhupinder Kaur, Harmeet Kaur, Jatinder Kumar, Prince, Arjun Singh, Amita Dhingra, Amit Sharma, Ram Dass, Navjyoti, Manohar Lal, Manisha, Rajni Kaundal, Anita, Sunita Dwivedi, among others, raised the issues , including seniority, promotions, pay fixation, higher qualification from the Universities outside the State, problems in updating of data on department web portal , regularisation of service , etc.
   
Krishan Kumar, while giving patient hearing to all the issues, problems and grievances put up during the interaction, asked the concerned officials to redress them on merit at the earliest possible. He also asked the concerned officials at the state and the district level to build an environment of confidence with regard to ensuring  transparent and hassle free delivery of the public utility services to teachers.
