SIT brought out the truth about sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib happened in 2015-Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon

Raghbir Singh Brar | July 14, 2020 08:15 PM

Dhillon blamed Badals of trying to delay the investigation in the case by putting up hurdles to cover up the truth.

Faridkot: “The special investigation team(SIT) formed to investigate the theft of holy Bir from Burj Jawahar Singh wala on June 1,2015 has brought out the truth about the sacrilege and Akalis are now putting up hurdles to save themselves,” said Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon, MLA Faridkot and political adviser to the chief minister Punjab speaking to the media persons here.

“It is the SIT which was formed on the directions of Apex court during the SAD-BJP government in Punjab and the officials of SIT have tried their best to bring out the truth by arresting the accused in the case. But Akalis first had tried to make the CBI file a closure report in the court using its influence so that the truth behind the sacrilege did not come before the people. Now again, when the SIT has filed chargesheet against the accused, Akalis are making efforts to delay the proceedings to save themselves,’ Dhillon said.

Dhillon said that Captain Amarinder Singh had promised to the people to properly investigate the case and put the accused behind bars in the sacrilege case.

“Now SIT has filed the chargesheet and conducting raids to nab the accused in this case,” he said.

He said that due to the self centered  policies and misrule of arbitrary leadership in  the Akali Dal dominated by Badal family, many Taksali leaders of the party are exiting it feeling suffocation.

“Akali apne guru de nahi bane, hor kis de ban sake de han, Dhillon asked?
