Education Secretary holds "Grievances Redressal Webinar" for Faridkot district

Mohali: Under the  district level " Grievances Redressal Webinars"  started by the Education Department, the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar, today heard the grievances of the teachers and non teaching employees of  Faridkot  district. Earlier, such webinars for Pathankot ,  Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana districts have been held. 
 Teaching and non teaching employees of the district Faridkot joined the Zoom App and You Tube  link  to share  their problems and grievances directly with the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar.
     
The officials of the Education Department , including DPI(Elementary) Lalit Kishore Ghai, Concerned Nodal Officer, Prabhjot  Kaur,  DEO(SE), Parminder Singh Brar,  DEO(EE), Kamaljit Taheem, Block Primary Education Officers and ministerial staff  were also attending the Webinar  from their respective places.     During the two hour long Webinar,  about  40   grievances were raised / Krishan Kumar, while giving patient hearing to all the issues, problems and grievances put up during the interaction, resolved most of the grievances on the spot by issuing requisite instructions to the concerned officials present in the Webinar. 
     
He asked the teachers and non teaching employees, who could not get time during the webinar, to either register their grievances on the portal or whats app to the concerned  Nodal Officer . All the issues as well as grievances received would be  taken up at the meeting of the concerned officials at the Head Office .These would be examined and resolved on merit, he added. 
   
" The idea behind starting the  district level  Grievances Redressal Webinars on every Saturday  is to ensure positive reciprocation to the hopes and aspirations of the teachers, who have been doing really commendable job in taking Virtual Classes,  enhancing enrollment, distributing text books , mid day meal, holding on line  Vidhayak Muqable to commemorate the 400th Gurpurv of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji , taking bimonthly house examination,  preparing for the Punjab Assessment Survey as well as performing various duties during the unprecedented pandemic COVID-19", said the Education Secretary while asking the DEOs and BPEOs to ensure transparent and hassle free delivery of the utility services to the teachers so that they could concentrate their energy more towards quality improvement in schools.
