Army organizes band concert in Amritsar

 AMRITSAR  As a prelude to Independence Day Celebrations, a ‘Live Band Concert’ for a limited audience as per government guidelines and COVID Warriors was organised by the Panther Division of Vajra Corps on 03 August 20 at Gobind Garh Fort, Amritsar.  Similar concerts at various historical places having linkages with India’s Freedom Struggle are being organised across the country.

  The Live Band Concert was performed by highly decorated bands of the Indian Army, which enthralled the audience with their splendid performance by playing tunes of famous patriotic and motivational songs in keeping with the theme.

   Towards the closure of the ceremony, Major General Vikram Singh, General Officer Commanding Panther Division felicitated COVID Warriors to include dignitaries from Punjab Police, personnel from medical fraternity and prominent educational institutes of Amritsar.
