Four women among nine arrested for outraging woman’s modesty

NAKODAR

 The Mehat Pur police have arrested nine persons including four women on the charges of outraging woman’s modesty, voluntarily causing hurt, house trespass, criminal intimidation and rioting.

The Investigating officer (IO) Tarlochan singh  said that the accused have been identified as Paramjit Singh alias Pamma, his sisters Rajvir Kaur alias Rosy and Ramandeep Kaur alias Pinky and Bhupindar Singh alias  Bhinda ,Joban Preet Singh ,  Sukhdev Singh alias Kala and his wife Rekha  ,Balwindar Kaur alias Bindar wife of Surindar Singh  and Jagga all residents of Aadramaan  village .

Kuldip Kaur wife of Harjindar Singh resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused armed with sharp edged weapons barged into her house on May 25 and   attacked her and her family, outraged her modesty and tore her cloths and ransacked house.

IO said that a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 354-354-B, 354-C (assault to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 452(house trespass) 458(lurking house trespass), 506(criminal intimidation) and 148 and149 (rioting) 427(mischief) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
