NRI Woman, her father and relative booked on the complaint of husband

Faridkot: The Faridkot police have registered a case against Gurmeet Kaur, presently living in Australia, her father Sadhu singh, a resident of village Panjgrain Kalan and her Masad(maternal uncle),Shinder Singh,a resident of Faridkot town on the complaint of her husband, who is also currently living in Australia.

Arshdeep, originally a resident of Faridkot town has alleged that the woman has got married to one Jagmail Singh, a resident of Amritsar without following due procedure of getting divorced and has demanded Rs 10 lakh to withdraw a case pending in Australia against him and giving him his child back to him.

The complaint has alleged that the accused have also threatened him to eliminate his family and used objectionable language against him and his family.

The police have booked the woman, his father and uncle under section 420(cheating),120 B(criminal conspiracy) and 506(intimidation).

The further investigation is on.
