Three arrested for snatching Rs 46,000, motor cycle

NAKODAR The Nakodar sadar police have arrested three miscreants on the charges of snatching cash and motor cycle from a salesman.

 Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of police N.S,Mahal and Station House Officer (SHO) Vinod Kumar told media  that the accused have been identified as Chhindar Pal son of Pargat Singh ,Joban Preet Singh alias Joban  son of Makhan Singh and Jugarja Singh alias Gajju son of Amrjit Singh residents of Sheron village under Sarhali police station in Tarn Taran.

They said that Saurav Bansal a resident of ward no.5 Nakodar and salesman of a company  had complained to the police that was returning home after collecting instalments on August 20 on his motor cycle (PB-08-DR-7374)  and stopped at Adda Khose village on the Nakodar- Kapurthala road when three car(PB-12-CZ-2243) borne miscreants reached there and two approached him and snatched from him kit bag containing Rs 40000 ,his purse containing  Rs 6000 ,mobile hand set and motor cycle and fled away.

SHO said that a case under sections 379-B (snatching) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against accused and   sections 482(punishment for using a false property mark), and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act have been added in the FIR.

He said that one revolver 32 bore,8 live cartridges one motor cycle and one vehicle with fake number was recovered from the accused.
