Woman among four drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

LOHIAN KHAS /NAKODAR  The Lohian Khas and Mehat Pur police have arrested four drug peddlers including a woman on the charge of selling poppy husk and intoxicant tablets.

Lohian Khas Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhdev Singh   said that 10 kilograms poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Balwindar Kaur wife of Puran Singh a resident of Pipply village and her son Hardip Singh.

SHO said that a case under sections 15/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Mehat Pur police arrested two drug peddlers Sunny Kumar son of Hardayal Singh a resident of Udhowal village and Deepak alias Deep son of Sukhdev a resident of Ladhian Khurd village  in Ludhiana with 215 intoxicant tablets, 4 injections and  four vials of intoxicants  said investigating officer Jai Pal.
