Crushing blow to BJP, Dalit, peasant leaders join AAP

 CHANDIGARH: The Punjab BJP on Friday received a big jolt when a dozen top leaders of Kisan Morcha from Patiala joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

A statement issued by the party from  party's headquarters in Chandigarh, state president and MP Bhagwant Mann, in-charge of Punjab affairs Jarnail Singh (MLA), state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat and state treasurer Nina Mittal informed that former BJP state executive member and Chabewal-based Chaudhry Balwinder Singh Bittu and International Kabaddi player Maninderjit Singh Vicky Ghanour and BJP Kisan Wing Patiala President Raghveer Singh Gopalpur, along with  entire district unit of Kisan Morcha joined the party.

Among others who joined on the occasion were General Secretary Beant Singh and Darshan Singh, District Vice President Dharmapal Singh and Darshan Singh, Harjeet Singh and Amrik Singh General Secretary, former Sarpanch Wazir Singh, District Senior Vice President of Akali Dal Dhanwant Singh and President of Auto Union Rajpura Garib Singh Bali, Advocate Amardeep Kaur and Wrestler Nirmal Singh.
