GNDU to celebrate 51st Foundation Day online today i.e. November 24

Amritsar– The Guru Nanak Dev University is celebrating online its 50st Foundation Day on 24th November, 2020. Major buildings of the University are illuminated with colorful lights to give a festive look.

           

Prof. Karanjeet Singh Kahlon, Registrar said that due to Covid-19 & Govt. guidelines for safety measures, this year Guru Nanak Dev University is celebrating this event online by inviting participants through e-card. Eminent scholars, Navdeep Singh Suri, IFS (Retd.), Former Ambassador to Egypt & UAE (GNDU Alumni) & Dr. Jogishwar Singh, IAS (Retd.), Ex-Managing Director at Edmond de Rothschild, Geneva, Switzerland will deliver online (http://online.gndu.ac.in/FoundationDay51.html) academic lecture from 11:00 am to 12.30 pm. He said that on this day, celebration will be started with Bhog Sri Akhand Path Sahib followed by Gurbani Kirtan by Bhai Jagtar SinghSri Harmandir Sahib. He said that all precautions will be followed.
