Guidelines issued to the officers and employees for making beneficiary cards

 Barnala: Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Aditya Dechalwal during his monthly meeting today issued guidelines for the issuance of cards to various beneficiaries under the Lifelong India Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. On this occasion, he said that this scheme has been launched by the government to provide good health facilities to the general public. Therefore, the people are being made aware of this by setting up camps at the village level, the government is also making cards for all the beneficiaries. He appealed to the general public to visit their nearest CSC or Seva Kendra and get their e-cards made. He also reviewed the toilets being constructed in 149 Anganwadi Centers in District Barnala and directed that the work should be completed on time. 

Barnala Municipal Council officials said that in the last 10 days, they have captured 160 stray animals and sent them to Gaushala in Manal village. Apart from this, the Municipal Council shared information regarding composting of wet waste by Barnala, Tapa, Dhanola, and Bhadaur. Reviewed various schemes run by the Health Department. Instructing the department, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Dechalwal said that now the government schools have been reopened and activities should be resumed in the schools under the National Child Protection Program. Prominent amongst others who addressed the meeting included SDM Varjit Walia, District Development and Panchayat Officer Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Civil Surgeon Dr. Harinderjit Singh, DSP (Headquarters) Mr. William JG and other officers were present.
