Youth booked for kidnapping minor

NAKODAR The Nakodar city police have booked a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor.

The investigating officer (IO) Harjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sunny son of Lubhaya a resident ofMahunwal village.

The victim’s mother complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her.

The investigating officer Rajvir Kaur said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and366-A (procuration of minor girl) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
