The drug department conducted checking in the district

Barnala: District Barnala Drug Department raids without license drug dealers. 

Sharing information DCO District Barnala Ekant Singla said that as per the directions of Dr. Harinderjit Singh Garg, Civil Surgeon, Barnala, and strict instructions from the Health Department, 8 shops have been examined. One of the shops was without a license. 

After seizing 30 types of drugs from that shop, a challan will be submitted to the Hon'ble Court for further action and action has also been taken against two shops for violating the Drug and Cosmetic Act. Singla said that no unlicensed drug dealer in the Barnala district would be spared at any cost. He also directed the chemist members to ensure strict compliance with the Drug and Cosmetic Act. Manoj Kumar was also present on the occasion.
