Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR The Nakodar city police have arrested a    drug peddler on the charge of selling opium.

 The Station House Officer (SHO) Jatindar Kumar said that 50 grams of opium were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Madan Lal alias Maddi son of Parkash Ram a resident of Mahunwal village.

SHO said that cases under sections 18 /61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
