NIIFT provides 100 percent placements to its students

Jalandhar,Terming the Fashion Design, Textile Desiign Garment Manufacturing Technology, Fashion Markeeting and Management as arenas of optimum opportunities for occupational entrepreneurships and employment at National and International level, Director Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) Mr. Inderjit Singh said that NIIFT has been able to provide almost 100 percent placements to its students who completed their professional degrees in these streams. 


last date of submission of Application is 28-5-2017.

Interacting with Media persons here today NIIFT Director said that students passed out from the institute have been placed in National and International level leading companies like Forever New, Zara, United Colours of Benetton, Vardmaan, Tynor Orthotics Ltd,Satyapaul, Cascade, Octave, Kapsons, Sportking. In order to provide Job opportunities to the students NIIFT was set up in 1995 by Punjab Government and after that also set up NIIFT centers at Ludhiana and Jalandhar in 2008 and 2009 respectively. He further revealed that institute Ranks 7th in country as per Survey done by Out Look Magzine. 

         

NIIFT Deputy Registrar Ms. Poonam revealed that institute is providing B.Sc in Fashion Design after 10+2, B.Sc in Textile Design after 10+2 and B.Sc in Fashion Design (Knits) after 10+2 besides M.Sc in Garment Manufacturing Technology after Graduation and M.Sc in Fashion Marketing and Management after graduation. Admission is given on the basis of an entrance test which is scheduled for 4-6-2017 for which the online registration has started from March 2017 onwards. The last date of submission of Application is 28-5-2017. Details can be seen onwww.niiftindia.com.
