Recalling his association with Sh. Dave, the Governor said he was an esteemed colleague and exceptional Member Parliament dedicated to cause of environment and sustainable development.

A great environmentalist he was, even in his death, Sh. Dave has left an obvious message to save environment through his WILL, said Sh. Badnore. To execute his last wish in letter and spirit, Sh. Badnore plated samplings in the premises of Punjab Raj Bhawan as a mark of regard and admiration to the great man and his thought.

Instrumental in bringing about a massive transformation in River Water Environment Conservation, Sh. Dave urged those living near the Narmada to opt for chemical-free farming. He also initiated radical steps necessary to stop the use of chemical fertilisers in agriculture as it was causing irreparable damage to vital organs, said Sh. Badnore.

Rich tribute to him would be to complete his incomplete tasks and carry forward his vision to save environment. He also said that necessary directions have been given to the officers concerned in Chandigarh to initiate a Plantation Drive dedicated to Sh. Anil Madhav Dave. Additional trees would be planted in all over the city besides motivating people to plant more trees in their vicinity.
