The religious and social organizations of Faridkot town get funds for their contribution and dedication to the public welfare works

Faridkot MLA Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon grants funds at the tune of about Rs 27 lakh  to the religious and social organizations in Faridkot town.

“The funds are going to be provided for their contribution and dedication for the social works. Gaushalas(cowsheds) in Faridkot town are providing shelter to many stray animals,” Kushaldeep Dhillon.

 Faridkot: “The religious and social organizations in Faridkot have made a lot of contribution in the public welfare works all the times. So appreciating their contribution, the government has decided to encourage those by providing them with more funds for extending their infrastructure so that they can continue their services to the town,” said Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon, MLA Faridkot and political advisor to the chief minister Punjab during a foundation laying ceremony on the auspicious day of Janmashtami.

Dhillon said that Aanadeana Gaushala of Faridkot has been granted Rs 11.66 lakh for the arrangement of proving the cows shade and other facilities.

Besides it, he said that two sheds would be constructed at Panchvati Gaushala and Rs 8.25 lakh is going to be spent to lay interlock tiles at Radha Krishan Dham in Faridkot.


Another Rs 7 lakh is going to be spent to renovate the Parsuram Dharmshala in the town.

The MLA said that a superior quality LED has been installed at the central barrier of the town with an aim to play religious music(Kirtan) besides providing some useful information to the town people.

Lalit Mohan Gupta, chairman improvement Trust Faridkot, Dr Chander Sekhar, SMO Faridkot,Dr Resham Singh Bahia and Baljinder Singh Babbu accompanied Dhllion during his visit to these places besides many others.
