Villager booked for cheating, breach of trust

NURMAHAL  The Nurmahal have booked a villager on the charges of cheating and breach of trust.

The investigating officer (IO) Mohindar Pal  said that the accused has been identified as Tarlochan Singh son of Bhagat Ram a resident of Shidham Hari Singh village.  .

Hardip Kaur wife of Harnek Singh a resident of Ram Pur village complained to the police that accused lured her of a scheme doubling money within one year, and she paid Rs 12 Lakhs to the accused in 2016-2018 .She said the accused assured her that Rs 24 lakhs of money would be returned in 2019.

She said that the accused failed to return her money   despite repeated requests.

IO said that a case under sections 420 (cheating) 406(breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused after an inquiry.
