What implied Captain’s last statement about farmers' protest about 3 days ago? Misleading?

FARIDKOT: Captain Amarinder Singh’s statement about the protests by the farmers in Punjab was actually either an expression of obligation or a veiled threat.

Amarinder had said that farmers are protesting at 113 places in Punjab and leading a loss to their own state.

He had further said that if the state government were not soft, the farmers could not have gathered at Delhi borders then.

However, in a reply, farmers leader Balbir Singh Rajewal had questioned Captain Singh claim.

He had said that the framers had been protesting at the sites of Reliance outlets, cornered the Silos of corporate houses and sitting at the National Highway toll plazas which generate revenue for the center.

"How could it be a loss to Punjab?'' Rajewal had asked.

Many farmers had alleged that Captain Amarinder’s statement was to create an environment of holding election rallies for other political parties.

They doubted that Singh’s statement was uncalled for and against the farmers.

It meant to ask the farmers to vacate the state seeking a mileage for other political parties for free movements and indirectly asking farmers to shift their base outside Punjab, the front runner state against the three farm laws.He allegedly wanted to dilute farmers protest in Punjab by creating a festival of elections.
