Two brothers booked for looting migrant labourers , firing

LOHIAN KHAS The Lohian Khas police have booked two brothers on the charges of looting migrant laboures and firing.

The Station House Officer (SHO) Balwindar Singh Bhullar  said that the accused have  been identified as Karanvir Singh son of Sarbann Singh a resident of Nihaluwal village and his brother Sukhprit Singh .

Gurnam Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that he is looking after a spun pipe factory on Adda Nihaluwal-Chak Chela village link road where four migrant laboureres work. He said he came from factory at 7 PM as usual and received a telephone call from labour at 9 PM.

  Caller told him that they were watching a film on mobile hand set when two motor cycles borne accused barged into their room and one of them was holding a pistol in his hand.

Caller said that the accused asked them to give every this they have to them otherwise they will fire and pistol holding accused fired at Manish Varla a native of Jharkhand who was seriously injured and snatched from him Rs 15000 and a mobile hand set .

Complainant said labour opposed the accused that fled away leaving behind their motor cycle.   

SHO said that a case under sections 307(attempt to murder), 394(voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery.), 397(robbery with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt. ),386(extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt.)323(voluntarily causing hurt ) and 34 (committing crime with common intention ) of the IPC and sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused.Thier motor cycle (PB-08-EF-6229) has been impounded and recovered two live and one empty  cartridge from the spot.
