Faridkot : Kotkapura MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Monday kick started his election campaign for the second term.

Kultar Singh Sandhwan, who is also the state chief of the AAP Kisan wing has been nominated by the party for the second time again from Kotkapura.

His name was included in the list of the first ten candidates which was released by the party.

Sandhwan started his election campaign by paying obeisance at the religious places in his village and then concluded the rally in the Gurdwara sahib of Dasvi Patsahi in Kotkapura town.

An impressive gathering of the party workers and leaders accompanied him in the form of a procession and the people danced to the drum beats and distributed Ladoos.

Addressing the gathering, Kultar Singh first thanked Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann for showing thrust on him and giving him the ticket for the second time.

“The traditional parties have not thought of the welfare of the people for the past 74 years. Rather, they have been looting the state. The interests of the people have been ignored and so now there is a time to give a chance to the third party, which has emerged as an alternative,” said Kultar Singh Sandhwan referring to the AAP.

He said that the youth of the state is forced to migrate to the other countries because they are not being provided any jobs here.

Kultar Singh said that the drugs are being sold here without any fear while the DAP fertilizer is not available for the farmers at the time of the sowing of wheat.

He further said that the employees are struggling to get their rights in the state and all sections of society are feeling ignored by the respective governments.

“I was elected by the Kotkapura people last term and I have raised all their concerns in the assembly with full force. Once again I appeal to the people of the constituency to elect me again  and form the AAP government in the state which would change the future of the state,” said Sandhwan.
