Villager arrested for stealing cattle

NURMAHAL The Bilga police have arrested a thief for seating cattle.

The investigating officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gurdeep Sigh alias Deep son of Piara Lal a resident of Kandola Khurd village.

Iqbal Singh a resident of Burk Kela  village complained to the police that that accused and  his  accomplice  barged into his cattle shed on  November 7  night and stolen a buffalo..

 The investigating officer said that a case under section 380(theft in dwelling house) and 457(house trespass), of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Mangal Singh son of Shainda Singh a resident of Burj Kela village  who is absconding .
