No lifting of Dharna unless other demands are met-Jagjeet Singh Dallewal, state president of BKU Sidhupur Ekta.

Dallewal claimed that 48000 cases have been registered against the farmers during agitation.

Faridkot  : Bharti Kisan Union state president Jagjeet Singh Dallewal has appealed to the farmers to reach the Delhi border unless the government withdraws all the criminal cases registered against the farmers during the farm magitation and accepts other demands.

“Since the beginning of the farm agitation, about 48000 cases have been registered against the farmers in Punjab, Haryana and other states. We want from the union government that all the cases should be immediately withdrawn and other demands are met which we had mentioned in the open letter to the PM Narendra Modi,” said Jagjeet Singh Dallewal, senior leader of Samyukta Kisan Morcha, member of 9 member committee and state president of Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur (Punjab).

Dallewal also congratulated the all the farmers for the victory of the farmers' agitation and said that despite the vicious campaign allegedly run on media and social media to defame the Sikh community, the community has not been able to hold its head high in esteem.

Referring to the cases registered in Haryana and UP, where the BJP governments are there, Dallewal has said that now it is the duty of the elder brother(Punjab) to stand by the younger brother(Haryana).

He was indirectly referring to the contribution of Haryana where most of the farmers booked during agitation.

The farm leaders are of the opinion that if the cases registered against the protesters are not withdrawn immediately by the government, after the lifting of the Morcha the farmers booked in different cases may be victimized.

Dallewal also demande justice for the victim of Lakhimpur Keeeri murderous attack.

Dallewal said that though the farm laws have been repealed, they would wait and sit there until their other main demands are met.
