Four booked for assaulting a woman

NAKODAR The Nakodar sadar police have booked three persons on the charge of assaulting a woman.

The investigating officer (IO)Tirath Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurmit Singh ,Gurdev Singh and his brother Amarjit Singh all  residents of Chak Peer Pur village.

Dalbir Kaur wife of Darshhan  Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused waylaid and assaulted her.

IO said that a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 341(wrongful restraint) and34 (committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.

The Mehat Pur police booked seven persons on the charge of assaulting Munni a resident of Dariya Vale Bille village said IO Satpal.
