Kejriwal's big announcement regarding CM's face in Punjab, will announce Punjab CM candidate next week: Arvind Kejriwal

CHANDIGARH: Delhi CM and AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal has said on Wednesday, Starting his election campaign in Punjab, the name of Aam Aadmi Party's CM candidate in Punjab will be announced within a week. Kejriwal, who is in Chandigarh for a two-day visit, said that soon the chief ministerial candidate would be announced.

 

Earlier, Punjab president Bhagwant Mann had also said that the party is ready to announce the chief minister. Indicated that the name is almost fixed. An announcement will be made soon. Rumor has it that the name of Bhagwant Mann is at the forefront regarding the age of the Chief Minister.

 

In a scathing attack on Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Kejriwal said that the loot started over the years by the Badal and Congress government in Punjab will now stop. He said that Punjab is being looted for many years. First the Badal government looted and now the Congress government is looting.

 

Expressing happiness over the announcement of elections, Kejriwal said that it is a good thing that elections in Punjab are being held on time. Kejriwal targeted the Channi government over the incidents of indecency and said that no matter how old the incident is, everyone will get justice.

 

Kejriwal said that no accused in the case will be spared. The culprits will be punished severely. He said the chief ministerial candidate would be announced next week.
