Lucknow: Ahead of UP assembly elections, the orgy of the leaders of the BJP ruling party is continuing. Three ministers and seven MLAs have left the BJP so far after Swami Prasad Maurya's resignation from the cabinet on Tuesday. Before the UP Polls, BJP has got a big setback.

Dharam Singh Saini, who resigned from the Uttar Pradesh government, on Thursday claimed that one minister and three to four MLAs would resign every day till January 20. Saini also said that he would follow the path of Swami Prasad Maurya.

Saini said he resigned from the Yogi government because "Dalit and backward and their voice was suppressed for five years". "We will do what Swami Prasad Maurya says. Every day till January 20, one minister and 3-4 MLAs will resign," he said.

There are indications that all these BJP leaders who have resigned may join the Samajwadi Party.

While three ministers met former Samajwadi Party chief minister Akhilesh Yadav after resigning from the government. Samajwadi Party will enter the fray in the upcoming assembly elections in alliance with smaller parties.

Dharam Singh Saini is the third minister to resign from the Yogi Adityanath cabinet on Thursday. Saini has also given the reason for his resignation, like Swami Prasad Maurya, the neglect of Dalits, backwards, farmers. Earlier on Wednesday, Dara Singh Chauhan and on Tuesday Swami Prasad Maurya submitted their resignations. Maurya is considered an influential leader of the OBC community and before the last assembly election he left the Bahujan Samaj Party and joined the BJP.
