Panaji: Ahead of the Goa Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday listed to a 13-point agenda for the State.
Kejriwal said that his Aam Aadmi Party gives fresh hope to people of Goa who are "frustrated" with Congress and BJP.
During the press conference, he said that the people of Goa are looking forward to the upcoming elections on February 14 and Aam Aadmi Party is fresh hope for them.
"They didn't have any choice except BJP/Congress earlier, they want a change and are frustrated," he stressed.
Announcing to the Aam Aadmi Party manifesto for the Goa Assembly elections, Delhi CM Kejriwal announced, "Employment will be provided to youth; those who do not get it will get aid of Rs 3000 per month. Mining has huge vested interest, we will provide land rights in 6 months of coming into power."
"Mohalla clinics and hospitals will be opened in every village and district of Goa, for better and free healthcare. Farming issues will be solved after discussing with the farmer community. The trading system will be streamlined and simplified," added the AAP national convenor.
He iterated that his party will provide Rs 1,000 to every woman above 18 years of age in the state if elected to power. The tourism sector will be developed as per international standards.
"Goa will have 24×7 free electricity and water. Roads will be improved and free education will be given in all government schools," said Arvind Kejriwal.
Goa will go to the assembly polls on February 14. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
