Balachaur: BJP President J.P. Nadda targeted Congress in Balachaur on Saturday. Addressing the election rally, Nadda said that Congress was responsible for the 1984 Delhi riots. Congress party leaders used to say that when a big tree falls, the earth shakes. Now they have come to you seeking votes. But PM Modi formed the SIT and those whose hands were stained with blood during the Delhi riots are in jail today.

He said that to date no one has done what Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done for the Sikh brothers and farmers. The equipment of the langar reaching the Gurudwaras was taxed in the earlier governments. PM Modi has made all gurdwaras tax free for langar. Prime Minister Modi has constructed the Kartarpur Corridor at a cost of Rs 120 crore and has arranged for darshan of lakhs of devotees at the Gurudwara.

The BJP president said Prime Minister Narendra Modi did the work of making ‘langar’ tax-free in India.

Kartarpur corridor was possible because of our PM. He spent Rs 120 crore on its construction, said Nadda.

No one has done the development of Sikhs & farmers as much as PM Modi did, he added.

The BJP is contesting the Punjab Assembly elections in alliance with Punjab Lok Congress led by former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa’s Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt).
