The Times reported that the Kremlin-backed Wagner Group was behind the two attempts. If they succeeded or did not succeed, Russia could have refused to be directly involved in the assassination plot.

If sources are to be believed, there are still more than 400 members of the Wagner group active in Ukraine's capital Kyiv, its members have made a list to kill 24 Ukrainian officials, so that after their killings the government of Ukraine becomes temporary and Fall down
On Saturday, 44-year-old Zelensky foiled a deadly attack on himself on the outskirts of Kyiv. In the midst of war between Russia and Ukraine last week, the US offered to expel Zelensky, but he refused to leave the country even then and remains firm on his decision to this day.
