KIVY: In the first week of the Russia-Ukraine invasion, United State official has claimed that Russia has fired more than 500 missiles in this week. Russia has attacked with different type of missile, and the other country has launched a wide variety of weapons at the rate of two dozen per day as the war rages, according to the Pentagon.
Ukraine's military on Friday said, as continue attacks by missile and bomb on the cities and the main focus of Russian troops was to encircle Kyiv. In a Facebook post, it added that Russian artillery and multiple launch rocket systems were pounding residential buildings and infrastructure. Also on Friday, Ukraine accused Russia of "nuclear terror" in shelling Europe's biggest nuclear power station at Zaporizhzhia.
While the vast Russian armoured column threatening Kyiv remained stalled outside the capital, President Vladimir Putin's military has launched hundreds of missiles and artillery attacks on cities and other sites around the country, and made significant gains on the ground in the south in an apparent bid to cut off Ukraine's access to the sea. Apart from the site of the reactors which generate a fifth of Ukraine's electricity, Russian troops have also taken over the Black Sea port of Kherson and the besieged port of Mariupol remains without water or power.
