Amidst the chants of 'Santokh Singh Chaudhary Zindabad' and 'Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary Zindabad', he visited the markets, shops and houses to meet the people and thanked them for their support. Both the Congress leaders were warmly welcomed with garlands and dhols everywhere.

In celebration of the victory in the Phillaur constituency, MLA Vikramjit Chaudhary was also weighed with laddoos.

The procession included hundreds of his supporters, including several municipal councillors, block samiti members, sarpanches and panches.
