NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Commissioner reached Jahangirpuri to meet the sub-inspector Meda lal, who was injured in the violence during Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday.

About 10 people were injured in this violence, one of whom was Meda Lal. Meda Lal was injured due to a bullet fired during the violence.

According to a news report, Rakesh Asthana reached Medalal's house on Sunday night and inquired about his condition. Asthana also assured all possible cooperation of Meda Lal.

Meanwhile, police personnel has stationed in Jahangirpuri on Monday morning as well. Barricading has also been done in some places. At present, the situation is under control.

The violence started during the procession on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on 16 April in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. During this firing was done. The police have so far arrested 23 people in this case.
