Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that Eid al-Fitr will officially begin on May 2.
On the occasion, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz while congratulating Saudi citizens and around the world on Eid-ul-Fitr, He said- “We feel privileged to greet you on Eid al-Fitr from the land of the Grand Holy Mosque. Let us celebrate this Eid enjoying safety, health and happiness, as well as protect our country and the countries of the world from all evil and harm.
King Salman prayed to Allah, “We are all thankful to Allah that He has given us and you the opportunity to fast and offer night prayers in the holy month of Ramadan, in which we all pray to accept good deeds. Allah is listening to everything and gives the answer to all our requests”.
He added, “Thank Allah that we are celebrating the festival of Eid. We hope that Allah Almighty will make our hearts happy with Eid and help us achieve the purpose of Eid”.
Allah has made Eid an occasion for morality, harmony, brotherhood, tolerance and forgiveness.
We keep trying to fulfill the responsibility for which Allah has chosen us. We are thankful to Allah for being able to continue this great work.
It is the mercy of Allah that we are able to operate the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Prophet Mosque once again to its full potential and we welcome the large number of Umrah worshipers, worshipers who visit the two holy mosques in the holy month of Ramadan. Glad to be helping.
