NEW DELHI: The domestic LPG cylinder price was raised by Rs 50 on Saturday. The people suffering from inflation have got another setback
Now the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 999.50 per cylinder.
Earlier this month, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 102 to Rs 2,355.5. the price of a 5-kg LPG commercial was also increased to Rs 655. In the last year, domestic LPG prices have jumpdd by nearly Rs 200.
Congress spokesperson Dr. Shama Mohammad, while attacking the government in view of the increased prices of LPG, he tweeted-
“The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs 50. It will now cost Rs 999.50/cylinder. In March 2014, the price used to be ₹410.5 per cylinder. How can the poor & lower middle class afford this rate? The BJP govt's greed will drive them to starvation!
Along with this, the district administration has also announced an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the family of the deceased. District Collector Manish Singh told that the treatment of the injured will be done by the state government.
