NURMAHAL The Nurmahal police have booked a Pasla village resident on the charge of crushing to death two migrants.
The Station House Officer (SHO) H.S.Maan said that the accused has been identified as Jagdip Kumar alias Dimpy son of Surindar Kumar a resident of Pasla village.
The deceased have been identified as Bhola Shankar (70) son of Sukan Mandal and Raj Kumar(74) son of Lalo Shah natives of Bihar state and residing at Pasla village for the last many years.
Rajwindar a native of Bihar state and residing at Pasla village complained to the police that he along with Sunil came out of his house on July 4 late evening for strolling and reached near Nagra Morr and saw his father and Raj Kumar returning home after work.
He said in his complaint he saw a Maruti Zen(PB-09-D-5927 ) coming from Nagar village side which was being driven by Jagdeep Kumar alias Jimmi son of Surindar Kumar adding that vehicle tuned toward religious place Baba Ami Chand and suddenly Jimmi revered his vehicle back and driving fast and negligently hit his father and Raj Kumar and seriously injured them and both succumbed to their injuries.
He said in his complaint that Jimmi intentionally hit his father and Raj Kumar and killed them, and action should be taken against him.
SHO said that a case under sections 304(culpable homicide not amounting to murder) 279(rash driving on a public road) and 427 (mischief) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused adding that the accident occurred after two groups fought between themselves and some gunshots were fired in the air which is being investigated.
