Women among three booked for outraging modesty of woman

NAKODAR: The Bilga police have booked three persons including women on charges of outraging modesty of woman, voluntarily causing hurt and committing crime with common intention.

Investigating officer (IO)) Paramjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sohan Lal alias Soni a resident of Khokhewal village, his wife Bimla Ranni and daughter Manpreet alias Mona.

The victim complained to the police that she is constructing new house and the accused are her more neighbour who started abusing her on August 22.When she came out from her house Sohan Lal tore her shirt and made her naked.Bimla Ranni attacked her with a sharp edged weapon and Mona pulled her hairs

IO said that a case under sections354-B(assault to woman with intent to rob her) and323(voluntarily causing hurt)and 34( committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab him.
