Punjab Tribune Bureau | October 07, 2017 03:10 PM

JALANDHAR: Mayor World School has always been a trailblazer in propagating the culture of helping others. It has always initiated several programs to uplift the deprived sections of society as a part of its corporate social responsibility.

Continuing with this tradition, 3rd to 7th October 2017 was observed as the ‘Joy of Giving Week’. The students made generous donations during this week in terms of clothing, shoes, stationery items, newspapers, toiletries, gadgets and money. They were sensitized and encouraged to perform these acts of charity and be of great contribution to society.

In this week the students realized that little contributions from their side could go a long way in the improvement of society. They also understood that they should value all that they have and not complain because there were so many people struggling to obtain even the basic necessities of life.
