Drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

Nakodar: The Mehatpur police have arrested a drug peddler on charge of selling intoxicant powder. Station house officer Kewal Singh said that 16 grams intoxicant powder was recovered from possession of the accused identified as Rajwindar Singh alias Raju a resident of Hussainabad village a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Sandeep Kumar a resident of Sekhewal village with 70 intoxicant tablets.

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Buta Singh alias Pepcy a resident Bhode village with 32 grams intoxicant powder.

The Nakodar city police arrested Baltej Singh   a resident of Chak Muglanni village  and Harmindar Singh a resident of Shankar village on charge of smoking intoxicant powder.
